PENERAPAN PROGRAM JUARA (JURU KESEHATAN REMAJA) SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA DI RURAL AREA

Abstract

The adolescent reproductive health program has been integrated into a health service model called the adolescent care health service (PKPR) in the Community Health Center Service Unit, but the PKPR program in its implementation is often less than optimal. The purpose of this community service activity is the implementation of the JUARA (Adolescent Health Officer) program which is a form of optimizing the role and function of the Community Health Center in improving reproductive health in adolescent groups. The form of implementation of the JUARA program is carried out in 4 meetings where each meeting contains elements of health education, group strengthening, and training. The target of this community service activity is 50 respondents consisting of 40 groups of youth from Karang Taruna and 10 health workers in charge of the adolescent program at the UPTD. Jenggawah Health Center. Evaluation of community service activities is carried out by pre-test and post-test after the JUARA program activities are implemented. Activities are carried out in the work area of ​​the UPTD Jenggawah Health Center. The results of the implementation of the JUARA program showed an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the youth group and health center officers regarding adolescent reproductive health management and the function of the health center in providing reproductive health services to adolescents (Good knowledge 66%, Good attitude 72%, and Good skills 60%). It is hoped that the JUARA program can be implemented sustainably in adolescent groups to improve their reproductive health management both in the community and in the Health Center Health Services.
