Abstract

Abstract: A fundamental understanding of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) serves as a crucial foundation for enabling students to perform acts of worship in accordance with Islamic Sharia. However, instruction in Madrasah Diniyah (Islamic religious schools) remains dominated by lecture-based methods, resulting in suboptimal student engagement regarding the comprehension and practical application of the material. This community service initiative aimed to strengthen the understanding of basic Fiqh through a religious education program for 40 students at Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Ulum in Grujugan Kidul Village, Grujugan District, Bondowoso Regency. The methods employed included lectures, interactive discussions, and practical worship exercises using a participatory approach. The results demonstrated that the students actively participated in the learning process, gained a better understanding of basic Fiqh concepts, and acquired hands-on experience in performing worship rituals according to Sharia guidelines. The program also received a positive response from the school administration as a means of reinforcing religious instruction. Thus, mentorship-based religious education proves to be an effective alternative for enhancing the quality of basic Fiqh learning in Madrasah Diniyah.

Abstrak: Pemahaman Fiqih dasar merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk kemampuan peserta didik untuk melaksanakan ibadah sesuai syariat Islam. Namun, pembelajaran di madrasah diniyah masih didominasi metode ceramah sehingga keterlibatan peserta didik dalam memahami dan mempraktikkan materi belum optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat pemahaman Fiqih dasar melalui program edukasi keagamaan bagi 40 siswa Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Ulum Desa Grujugan Kidul, Kecamatan Grujugan, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik ibadah dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peserta mengikuti pembelajaran secara aktif, mampu memahami materi Fiqih dasar dengan lebih baik, serta memperoleh pengalaman langsung dalam mempraktikkan tata cara ibadah sesuai tuntunan syariat. Program ini juga mendapat respons positif dari pihak madrasah sebagai bentuk penguatan pembelajaran keagamaan. Dengan demikian, edukasi keagamaan berbasis pendampingan menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Fiqih dasar di madrasah diniyah.
