This study aims to understand the psychological dynamics of adolescents experiencing parental divorce, focusing on its impact on emotional regulation, identity development, and the formation of self - acceptance. This research employed a qualitative method with a single-case study approach involving a female adolescent who experienced parental divorce during childhood. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that parental divorce significantly affects the subject’s emotional stability and identity formation. However, emotional support from the grandmother, a stable social environment, and religious activities served as protective factors that facilitated recovery. The subject also demonstrated indicators of self-acceptance and post-traumatic growth, including increased self-reflection, deeper spiritual understanding, and the ability to reconstruct the meaning of past experiences
