Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Daring Selama Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus Siswa Kelas XI IPA)

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak that hit all countries including Indonesia resulted in changes in learning patterns. Conventional learning patterns that have long been carried out at all levels of education so far, suddenly have to change with online or networked learning patterns. This change in learning patterns makes students, teachers and parents unprepared. Unpreparedness in following online learning for students affects the student's own learning motivation, so students have to face problems such as not doing assignments, not following online learning. Motivation to learn is the overall driving force contained in students that creates the intention to carry out learning activities, so that the goals desired by the learning subject are achieved. This study aims to determine and describe the learning motivation of one of the students in online learning during the co-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The subject of this research is one of the students in class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Bondowoso who experienced attendance problems during online learning. As supporting subjects (significan other) are one counseling teacher, homeroom teacher of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Bondowoso and student guardians. The techniques in this research are interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis step in this study is to use an interactive data analysis model with the steps of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this research is that learning motivation in one of the students of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Bondowoso in participating in online learning leads to the type of extrinsic motivation. In the obstacles in participating in online learning, one of the students is constrained by not having a cellphone. The media and methods used in online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Bondowoso are Google Classroom, Whatsapp and Zoom. the level of involvement and activeness of one of these students in participating in online learning is very low.
