Abstract

Learning style refers to an individual's preferences in absorbing, processing, and understanding new information. This research aims to determine the relationship between learning styles and learning achievement of class VIII and IX students at Miftahul Hidayah Islamic Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research used 30 students as subjects. The data collection method in this research uses quantitative research methods. The research instrument used is the Learning Styles questionnaire developed by Sugianto (2021) which has 14 items. This instrument has a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.783, where this value > 0.60 is stated to have a high level of reliability and is consistently used in research. Meanwhile, student learning achievement is obtained from student report cards. From the results of the hypothesis test, a sig value of 0.05 was obtained. If the sig value ≥ 0.5 means the hypothesis is accepted. So in conclusion, there is a significant influence between learning achievement and learning style.
