Journal History

Since 2020, Jurnal Edukais: Journal of Islamic Thought has used an article writing format that does not refer to IMRAD systematics (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) but includes IMRAD as a whole. In line with improving quality and adjustments to national accreditation standards and international indexation, in 2025 the management of this journal has revised its scientific article writing template. Currently, authors are required to follow the IMRAD structure consistently to ensure clarity, systematicity and more measurable academic quality. This change not only targets the systematic content, but also appears in the journal cover design. The previously general cover has now been updated to be more specific, reflecting the scientific identity of the journal in accordance with its scope, namely focusing on the fields of Islamic Education and Islamic Thought. It is hoped that this revision will be able to strengthen the competitiveness and scientific integrity of the journal in the national and international arena.
