Author Guidline

In order to make an article published in D'Nursing and Health Journal , the author should take some guidelines into account, as follow:

  1.   The article to be submitted must be the article that has never been published or submitted anywhere.
  2.   Articles are a literature review, sistematic review paper or research results in the field with the specifications of studies and research in nursing, nutrient, medical, and health scope. Every article to be submitted in D'Nursing and Health Journal is allowed to be written in english.
  3.  The article includes 5–20 page or 2000-5000 words  manuscripts (written on letter (A4) paper with Times New Roman 12 point 1,5 space on one column)
  4.   The article is submitted at http://ejournal.unibo.ac.id/index.php/DNursing/submissions
  5.  Title: The title of the article should be clear (not ambiguous) and identifying the content. The format of the title uses Times New Roman 16 Bold, Centered Alignment, and must be Sentence case. It is 0pt spacing (before and after).
  6.   Author and Affiliation Name: Write the author name without an honorary name or degree and should be written in full name. If the authors are more than one person, write all of them. The authors names are written under the title. Use Times New Roman 12 Bold, Centered Alignment with single spacing.

The authors’ affiliation is presented using Times New Roman 11 Centered Alignment and single spacing. The affiliation is written in full name (not abbreviation) includes The name of department, the name of faculty, the name of university, and complete address.

  1. Abstract: The abstract is written in English. The abstract should be clear, concise and descriptive. Abstract is written in 12 pts Times New Roman (single spacing) and preferably no more than 300 words containing: background, purpose, method, result, and conclusion. 
  2. Keywords It is a maximum of 5 keywords in English with very clear meaning. The keywords are separated by a semicolon (;).
  3. Introduction: Background provides the state of the art of the study and consists of an adequate background, the previous researches and significance of the study to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper. Avoid the use of literature review or a summary of the results. It should be written as brief as possible, the statement mentioned in this section should be supported with the most current and important literature references. Author should state the research objective.
  4. Method: An extensive description of method must be provided on how the study has been conducted. The method selection should be relevant with the research objective(s). Authors might use these subsections, if possible: (1) Design: the type of study performed must be described, justified. Authors should explain a relevant reasoning toward design selection. (2) Place and time of research: indicate the place and the time of performing the study. A relevant statement should be indicated. (3) Population and samples: Specify the characteristics of the studied population and the inclusion and exclusion criteria. If all the population was not included in the study, author must indicate how the sample size was calculated and the value of each parameters, as well as the sampling technique. (4) Data measurement: explain how the data have been collected and who did it along with the tools used. Author is responsible for the instrument validation. (5) Data analysis methods: indicate the statistic test used for the analysis. Prisma tools can be used for the systematic literature review study. (6) Ethical aspects: please provide sufficient details of the methods include ethical conduct.
  5. Results : Results describe the major findings of the study. It should be clear, concise and can be reported on texts or graphics. Please provide some introduction for the information presented on tables or images.
  6. Discussion: The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the study. The following components should be covered in discussion: How do your results relate to the original question  or objectives  outlined in  the  background  section  (what)? Do  you  provide interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences? 
  7. Conclusion: Conclusion should answer the objectives of the study. Provide a clear scientific justification for your study, and indicate possible recommendation for nursing practice and future practice.
  8. Figure: The figures are numbered in the order in which they are presented (Figure 1, etc.). The source of the figure is written below the figure. The title of the figure is placed under the figure with the center position (center justified). The explanation of the figure must be written in the narrative of the article.
  9. Tables: The tables are numbered in the order in which they are presented (Table 1, etc.). The source of the image is written below the table. Writing I in the table is written with the letters Times New Roman 10 single space. The title of the table is written at the top of the table in a center justified position like the example in Table 1 below. The explanation of the table must be written in the narrative of the article.
  10. References: Everything that is referred to in the text goes to the reference list and everything on the reference list is indeed referred to in the text. The bibliography must contain relevant references from primary sources (scientific journal articles and a minimum of 60% of the total bibliography) and be published in the last 10 (ten) years. Writing scripts and citations referred to in this manuscript are recommended using reference applications (reference managers) such as Mendeley, Zotero, RefWorks, Endnotes, etc. The format of writing a bibliography uses Harvard style.
