Abstract

The implementation of mathematics learning with digital-based media is increasingly developing in today's education world with the intention of improving student understanding. The purpose of this study is to analyze student perceptions in the implementation of mathematics learning with digital-based media. The research subjects were 117 students of Tamanan and Tenggarang Senior High Schools in Bondowoso Regency. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach in the form of a case study. The instruments used were interviews, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of mathematics learning with digital-based media is very important in understanding, applying, and evaluating the process of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The media that teachers often use are power points as much as 73.5% and the quizizz application by 62.4%. Audio-visual media is more effective in presenting more interesting material, this encourages students to be more motivated in learning. The effectiveness of the implementation of learning media is influenced by the availability of infrastructure facilities and infrastructure in schools and also the skills of teachers in utilizing technology. Therefore, suggestions from this case study need to improve infrastructure and training for mathematics subject teachers continuously so that the implementation of mathematics learning with digital-based media can be carried out well
