The teacher teaching paradigm has experienced development from teacher centered learning (TCL) to student centered learning (SCL) which is expected to make students active in building knowledge, attitudes and behavior. One of the subjects taught by teachers is physics which requires learning media that can support SCL learning. Physics textbooks based on process images are effective in SCL learning, when these textbooks are applied they can improve students' high level thinking skills (HOTS) in the high category.
