The purpose of this study is: to measure and describe the ability of students of class III MIS Nurul Hasan Bondowoso in learning mathematics on the material "comparing fractions" before and after using fraction card media, and to determine the significant increase in understanding of students of class III MIS Nurul Hasan Bondowoso on the material "comparing fractions" after using fraction card media. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a population of students of class III MIS Nurul Hasan Bondowoso totaling 15 students. The instruments used are pretest and posttest questions. The results of the study showed that: the average student understanding seen from the results of the student's pretest score was 66.7, while the average student understanding seen from the student's posttest score was 78.4. This is evidenced by the average posttest score being greater than the pretest score. Based on the results above, the comparison of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the pre-action that had been completed was 5 students (33.3%) while those who had not completed were 10 students (66.7%) and the number of students was 15 students. In cycle I, 12 students (80%) have completed it, while 3 students (20%) have not completed it.
