This study aims to describe the perceptions of mathematics teachers and students regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 1 Probolinggo using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through observations, questionnaires, and interviews with teachers and students, analyzed based on three stages of implementation: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that in the planning stage, the Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility in designing teaching materials, but there are challenges in preparing lesson plans. In the implementation stage, the curriculum supports innovative, activity-based learning approaches, though there are challenges in adapting methods and resources. In the evaluation stage, the assessment focuses more on developing student competencies and character, but it requires more time and effort. Overall, teachers' perceptions are generally positive, with hopes for further training and support.
