This research aims to ensure that students can learn to understand from various different points of view, can educate by collaborating, think more complexly, and create problem-solving skills. This type of research is an experiment using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students consisting of four classes, with a total of 112 students. Sample collection used Cluster Random Sampling, so that an experimental sample of 28 students was obtained. The pretest and posttest instruments are objective questions. The results of data acquisition were analyzed using T-test inferential statistics. This was proven by the significance hypothesis test using the T test, data obtained was 0.05 from the value of tcount > ttable, namely 37.089 > 2.052, meaning that H0 was rejected so that the conclusion was obtained that the implementation of the PBL model could improve the HOTS abilities of MAS Miftahul Ulum Pancoran students.
